Marc Marquez’s entry into the MotoGP class in 2013 was well-documented. Marquez stayed in the 250cc class for one more year and claimed the championship with relative ease, finishing 59 points ahead of the second-placed Pol Espargaro. ![]() ![]() He moved to the 250cc the next year and finished the season in the second place, 23 points behind Stefan Bradl. A switch to the Red Bull Ajo Motorsport team in 2010 saw a change of fortunes for the Spaniard as he managed to win 10 races and secure the championship in some style. His first two seasons were mediocre at best and managed to claim only two podiums. Marc Marquez entered the 125cc class in 2008 and became the youngest Spanish rider to take a pole position and secure a podium. Marc Marquez is a Spanish motorcycle rider currently competing in the MotoGP class with Repsol Honda team.
